Not just for your Theory of Relativity but also for your definition of insanity. Albert said it best, “Insanity, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. It took me over 15 years of failing at standard diets to truly appreciate this definition. I have tried numerous diets, the majority starting in January or a Monday later in the year after failing with my January attempt. In late 2012, I luckily found the answers to my diet failures and it started out with me removing all of my associations with diets.
Some of these associations included – you have to eat healthy, you have to follow a strict meal plan and you have to lose weight fast so you can enjoy life again. I started out with a blank sheet of paper and told myself there is only one universal truth to losing weight – you have to burn more calories than you consume. Then I noticed a common theme in standard diets from doctors, nutritionists, and trainers – they drastically drop calories and radically change food choices in a single day. Then it dawned on me, diets do not factor how to change human behavior. You can’t take decades of poor eating and exercise habits and change them in a single day.
It’s no different than learning a new language or training for a marathon, it takes time. And this is the foundation of my program – controlling the rate at which you make changes to calorie reductions and food choices over time in order to induce a lifelong habit change. And the best part, I still eat normal food enjoying cheeseburgers, pretzels, cookies, etc. I only eat healthy approximately 50-60% of the time. I also have a revised motto derived from Albert – “Until you try something new, nothing will change.” So why purchase another lose weight fast program or program with so many dietary restrictions you are bound to fail? Ask yourself, “So this time around, what am I going to do differently to be successful losing weight once and for all?” Have a little patience and open mind and I will show you an easy inexpensive way to a new you.
